Art of various forms of Saint Krajevi.

Summary

Saint Krajevi is a Chaotic Evil force of ambition incarnate, ruling from a fractured domain within the Feywild. Once a mortal of unmatched desire for glory and conquest, he has long since shed the limitations of flesh, his head forever engulfed in divine flame—a symbolic mark of the eternal fire of his yearning. Unlike other divine entities who seek balance, compassion, or even domination, Krajevi seeks transcendence through sheer force of will. He represents the unrelenting hunger to rise, to claim, to burn away weakness. The Feywild, with its ever-changing nature, is the perfect mirror of Krajevi’s volatile power, now warped and twisted into a realm where ambition is law and fire is truth.

Krajevi's cult is a brutal yet fervent order. Followers are not united by blood or creed, but by drive. They climb over one another, challenge their leaders, and destroy any sign of complacency. Ironically, this chaos is what gives the cult its strength. Like a fire consuming a forest to make way for new growth, Krajevi's faithful believe that only through destruction can something truly mighty emerge.

To outsiders, Krajevi's influence is terrifying—cultists carving flaming brands into their skin, speaking in tongues, engaging in ritualistic duels where only one survives. Yet within the cult, these are acts of spiritual refinement. There is no hierarchy without fire, no ascension without pain. The ultimate reward is not salvation, but transformation—into a being capable of shaping fate with sheer will.

His presence in Kol has grown steadily since the pause in divine Judgment. As Ahriman’s allies stir and ancient bonds crack, Saint Krajevi's domain—once contained—seeps into mortal realms. The air itself burns with invisible fury where his presence manifests, and madness blooms in those who fail to live up to their ambition.

Tenets of Saint Krajevi

  1. Flame is Truth – Let fire reveal who you truly are; the unworthy will burn, and the worthy will be reborn.

  2. Ambition Above All – Those without hunger are meat for the flames. Feed your fire, or be consumed by another’s.

  3. Burn the Roots – Traditions, bloodlines, and gods are chains. Shatter them to rise.

  4. Challenge the Inferior – Those who cannot keep up must be left behind. Mercy is a sin against ambition.

  5. The Crown Must Burn – Leadership is temporary. Overthrow it when your flame outshines it.

Structure of the Cult

The Flame-Wreathed King/Queen
The supreme leader of the cult, crowned not by lineage but by fire and challenge. They wear a permanent mantle of living flame and are only replaced through sacred combat. Their word is law until their strength fails or ambition falters.

The Brandbearers
Senior cult leaders who survive trials of flame and fury. Each bears a divine brand from Krajevi himself and oversees regions of the Feywild and corrupted portions of Kol. They challenge each other often, and internal duels are common and encouraged.

The Embercloaks
Mid-tier operatives who serve as cult enforcers, assassins, and propagandists. They manipulate mortal politics, convert new zealots, and test the weak. If they do not rise, they are consumed.

The Ashborn
Low-ranking initiates undergoing constant trials to prove their worth. Most perish. Those who survive are reshaped, physically or mentally, into truer vessels of ambition.

The Scorchsingers
Fanatics who maintain the oral traditions, hymns, and liturgical history of the cult. Often maddened by the visions they receive from the flames, they are revered and feared in equal measure.

Cult of Saint Krajevi in the Age of Ruby

The Age of Ruby has brought unprecedented opportunity for Saint Krajevi’s cult. With divine rebirth halted and divine judgments suspended, ambition faces fewer barriers. The Feywild, already a realm of raw potential and passion, has become twisted under Krajevi’s reign—firestorms, emotional surges, and flaming trees of bone and gold are not uncommon. Chaos breeds strength, and the cult thrives in the disorder.

The Black Church has identified the Cult of Krajevi, alongside those of Udrim and Malthor, as part of an emerging power network surrounding Ahriman. While their ultimate goals remain hidden, one fact is clear: they are preparing for something enormous. Whispers of Annwn Tân Parhaol echo through the void, and though the cults keep their secrets well, the patterns of movement and recruitment align with a grand, infernal design.

On Kol’s surface, the cult operates in shadows, gathering disillusioned youth, failed nobles, and outcast soldiers. They promise power without restraint, leadership without compromise, and ascension through ambition. The weak are discarded or sacrificed, and the strong are forged in fire. Rumors spread of flame-scarred paladins, burning prophets, and blazing warbands traveling through the Murk, branding the land in Krajevi’s name.

As the Black Church mobilizes its Crusades, many believe Krajevi’s cult may soon become a primary threat—one that cannot be reasoned with, only outburned.

Primordial History of Saint Krajevi

Saint Krajevi was once a mortal from the Forgotten Realms, a warlord of terrible reputation, known for burning cities to ash to mark his path to greatness. Udrim, the godlike scholar-saint, is his great-grandson. When the Realms began to fall to rot and corruption, Krajevi did not flinch. He made a pact with Ahriman—trading his mortality and soul for power, destruction, and the promise of ascending beyond gods.

These deals warped him beyond recognition. His ambition was so great, his head ignited with eternal fire, a literal manifestation of his hunger for more. Those who looked into his flame saw their own failures and were driven to either madness or fervent devotion. Saint Krajevi became a legend, a symbol, and eventually a god of brutal ambition.

When the Great Crush occurred and Kol was forged, Krajevi’s legacy crossed over. Unlike some deities who faded in the transition, he carved a place for himself—violently. He eliminated or absorbed lesser gods of chaos and fire, seizing their followers and domains for himself.

Today, he is worshiped in the darkest corners of the Feywild and whispered about in charred ruins across Kol. Few dare to speak his name openly, but his cult’s flame spreads nonetheless.

The Blood War

Saint Krajevi, alongside Udrim, fights under Ahriman’s banner in the eternal Blood War—a cosmic conflict between Lawful Evil devils and Chaotic Evil demons. Though Krajevi is chaotic to his core, his alliance with Ahriman has given him new tools to spread his flame. His legions ignite abyssal trenches and corrupted courts alike.

The Feywild, his domain, has been deeply scarred by this conflict. Once a place of unrestrained emotion, it now roils with chaotic violence. Forests scream, rivers blaze, and storms of ambition raze entire regions. The essence of the realm itself mirrors Krajevi’s twisted gospel.

His cult’s role in this war is to stoke the fires higher—summoning war beasts, empowering infernal rites, and burning out any seed of hesitation. This war is not just for territory; it is for the very right to define reality itself.

Rituals and Dogma

The Trial by Flame
Every initiate must pass through flame unburned—metaphorically or literally. Those who fail are consumed or cast out as ash-scorned. Those who succeed emerge changed, glowing with inner light or literal embers.

The Challenge of Chains
To rise in rank, a follower must break symbolic or literal chains: the chains of bloodline, loyalty, or weakness. This ritual is sometimes accompanied by the burning of one's home, family name, or past.

Ashes of the False Prophet
Once a year, the cult selects a false prophet—a symbol of stagnation or peace. Their ashes are used to anoint the faithful and feed the sacred flame of ambition.

Prayers

Flame Within, Flame Without
"Let your fire rise in me. Burn my doubt, ignite my vision. Let those who stand in my way become cinders beneath my feet."

Prayer of the Burning Path
"Each step is flame. Each breath is smoke. Guide me, Saint Krajevi, that I may walk the path that burns away all but truth."

Litany of the Inferno
"Ash to flesh, flame to bone. Let ambition claim me whole. May I burn so bright that gods must shade their eyes."

Hymns

Hymn of the Blazing Crown
"He who burns, shall reign. Crowned in smoke and fire."

The Song of Cinders
"We rise from ash, we burn anew. The weak fall, the strong shine through."

Flame is the Father
"Born of fire, forged in war, we sing in screams and raise the score."

Sermons

The Flame Must Consume
"Do not resist the fire. Let it eat your doubt. Let it purge your fear. You will not survive it—you will become it."

The Tyranny of Stillness
"Peace is a prison. Harmony is the lie of cowards. Only in struggle do we know who we are. Only in ambition do we live."

The Worth of Ash
"Ash tells stories. It marks the place where the unworthy once stood. Do not be remembered as a pile of dust. Be the one who lights the match."
