In the Age of Ruby, the Cult of Renji has become a significant influence in Kol’s divine and mortal conflicts. The Sundering Maw
In the First Age of Kol (the Albedo Age), a race of now extinct demihumans called the Nephalems warred with the pantheon of Kol. When the war was over two gods of Kol’s original pantheon were dead and two twin witch nephalems, Arevay and Mekhila, had ascended as goddesses to the Divine Council of Kol’s Pantheon. Kol was left devastated. One of the worst calamities was caused by the nephalem, Kalé the Frenzied. This catastrophe not only completely destroyed the continent and blown off a portion of Kol, but it ripped a hole through reality itself and into the chaotic elemental maelstrom of the fringes of reality itself. Renji makes this chasm to the end of reality, the Sundered Maw, his stronghold.
